Operation Mercury is one of the Grand Tactical Series games. The game simulates the German invasion of Crete in May 1941 and represents a fundamental step in airborne warfare.

The players will take the role of the allied forces on Crete or as the German. As a player of the Allied, you should try to avoid the Germans reaching the important airfield that will lead them to victory. As a German, you should push for the collapse of the Commonwealth and make them withdraw.

The game will include random events such as airstrikes, tank breakdowns, and partisan attacks. The game provides thirteen scenarios, 9 maps, and exclusive rules.

Operation Mercury è uno dei giochi della Grand Tactical Series. Il gioco simula l'invasione tedesca di Creta nel maggio 1941 e rappresenta un passo fondamentale nella guerra aerea.

I giocatori assumeranno il ruolo delle forze alleate a Creta o come i tedeschi. Come giocatore degli Alleati, dovresti cercare di evitare che i tedeschi raggiungano l'importante aeroporto che li porterà alla vittoria. Come tedesco, dovresti spingere per il crollo del Commonwealth e costringerlo a ritirarsi. Il gioco includerà eventi casuali come attacchi aerei, guasti ai carri armati e attacchi partigiani.
