A dangerous cult has taken over Arkham! Meeting secretly, these heretics and madmen traffic with dark powers and offer sacrifices to the Ancient One, while hordes of monstrous creatures descend upon the city. It falls to a small band of investigators to infiltrate the cult and uncover these dark rituals, but even the purest of hearts can find themselves corrupted by this dangerous mission. Will their sacrifices be enough to prevent the Ancient from awakening, or will the investigators succumb, one at a time, to the blasphemous seduction of his Herald, the Black Goat of the Woods?
